HANOI – WATCH WILD BIRDS AT CUC PHUONG

06:00: Breakfast 
08:30: Arrival in Cuc Phuong. Free at leisure for a while. Guide to take travelers to watch forest birds and animals. According to a recent survey conducted by Birdlife, Cuc Phuong is chosen as 1 of the 15 most convenient bird watching destinations in Vietnam. Up to now, more than 300 species of birds have been recognized in Vietnam, including those of go kien, sao, qua and dop ruoi. Furthermore, some endemic species of the South East Asian region have also been seen in Cuc Phuong like Megalaima lagrandieri, Pitta elliotii, and Napothera crispifrons... Lunch In the afternoon, the tour will be continued with a track to Mac Lake where Urocissa whiteheadi can be seen. 06:30 Stopover for breakfast 
07:00: Arrival in Xuan Thuy national park. Take small canoes to visit Con Ngoan that is home to hundreds of different species of bird, particularly the two that are on the list of endangered and possibly endangered species are cò thìa and giang sen. Cò thìa is considered endangered on global level. Some time this kind of animal reduced to around 300 individuals all over the world and in danger of extinction, but thanks to better protection during the past ten years, the number has reached around 2 million individuals. The national park is also home to thousands of sparrows.
12:00: Lunch and continue watching birds at Xuan Thuy national park. 
Xuan Thuy national park: located in Thai Binh and Nam Dinh provinces, Xuan Thuy national park is 150km from Hanoi canter with an area of 7,100ha. The fertile alluvium of the red river and the coastal area makes up the unique natural characteristics of the water land with an abundance of wild plants and animals as well as precious and scare migrant birds. The park is home to 9 species that are on the list the the world red book like rẽ mỏ thìa, cò thìa, choắt mỏ thìa, mòng biển mỏ ngắn, bồ nông, choắt chân màng lớn, cò lạo Ấn Độ, choắt mỏ vàng, cò trắng Trung Quốc...
16:00: Departure to Hanoi.
18:30: Arrival in Hanoi and end of tour.
